Dr. Susan Musselman received her bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Western Michigan University, as well as her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in vocal performance from The Ohio State University. Her studies also include the K-12 teaching licensure certification through OSU, as well as the lied and opera programs at the American Institute of Musical Studies in
An accomplished singer, Susan has been active in the Central Ohio music community for 17 years, performing with Opera Columbus, The Lancaster Chorale, the Education and Outreach program with Opera Columbus, and has been a featured soloist with The Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus, the Heisey Wind Ensemble, the OSU Chorale, the Wittenberg Choir, Trinity United Methodist Church, and other area ensembles. Dr. Musselman’s current focus is on solo singing and most recently presented a benefit recital with collaborative pianist, Ed Bak.
Dr. Musselman previously taught Applied Voice and Opera Workshop at Wittenberg University and is now the owner/instructor at Uptown Voice, located in Marysville, Ohio.
